Strength Specific Training
Our collection of strength-specific training (SST) cycles that are planned in 6–12-week blocks. The goal is to develop your base strength levels in traditional barbell lifts such as the squat, deadlift, bench press and press.
This class is perfect for members who are interested in competing in a strength-based sport such as powerlifting, the sport of CrossFit; or those who simply want to get stronger. Our SST sessions are designed to complement other Comal Active conditioning and Olympic weightlifting classes.
Strength Specific Training workouts are part of our community class series. Our community classes offer schedule flexibility in that you can complete these workouts any time of day. Whether you want to attack the workouts solo or with other Comal Active members is up to you.
